The Andaman Islands Expedition

Season: December – April

Sail across the Andaman Sea between Thailand and the unique archipelago of India’s Andaman Islands. There are 572 islands in total, with only 36 inhabited, and cover a distance of nearly 800 km. Discover exotic beauty and unique culture hidden away in an exquisite area of the world.

Travel in luxury and enjoy the fresh meals provided by your private chef as you watch migrating dolphins and whales. During the journey you’ll discover paradise on remote beaches, unique unspoiled wildlife, swim with elephants and learn about the world’s oldest indigenous tribes, which still reside here.

The expedition is rich in history. We travel a similar route taken by Persian, Indian and European merchants long ago. Throughout the ages, South Asian empires, the Japanese and the British established bases on various Andaman Islands. The area is so remote that none of these lasted, however the world’s oldest indigenous tribe still lives here. Marco Polo noted the islands were home to “fierce man-hunters”. There are many stories and legends of these islands.

Sailing the Andaman Islands is everything you could possibly desire from an exotic yacht charter. Along with the unmatched beauty and very few tourists, you’ll have ample opportunities for surfing and diving along the way. Commercial fishing is banned in this area, so you’ll find an abundance of dolphins, whales, sea turtles, sailfish, tuna, and amazing coral reefs.
