Anambas and Tambelan Islands Expeditions

Season: April – October

Take a journey to an isolated cluster of islands in the South China Sea – islands so remote they can only be accessed by private boats with experienced skippers. Travel in luxury and enjoy the incredible surrounds along the way.

During the expedition visit Pulau Tambelan Besar,  the largest island home to a bustling fishing village, where you can have cultural exchanges with the friendly locals. Eat local seafood, visit the schools, and rent a motorbike to explore the island.

The Badas Islands are much quieter and smaller, with few tourists and abundant marine life and colorful corals. Diving here is like entering an aquarium with 20 meters visibility.

This expedition reveals such amazing scenery and untouched coral reefs, it is truly an adventure with experiences you cannot get anywhere else in the world.

SAMPLE ANAMBAS ITINERARY

Day 1 – One 15 Marina / Batam / Anambas

After checking in at One 15 Marina, Singapore we cruise to Sister Islands for Singapore immigration. On the start of the journey our crew prepares the first delicious lunch as we cruise to Batam. During the first night we sail to the secluded islands of Anambas. Take in the serenety as night falls, and be prepared to be amazed at first light.

Day 2: Damar / Jemadja / Ajam

When you awake we will be in Danmar. Enjoy a breakfast onboard with the amazing backdrop of untouched islands. After breakfast, exploration and adventure begins! Take your first dive or snorkel to explore pristine reefs. Or do some stand up paddleboarding and play with some of the yacht’s onboard toys. Throughout the day we slowly cruise to Jemadja – home to some of the World’s most amazing coral reefs. We move on to Ajam for an overnight stay. Enjoy a delicoius dinner provided by the crew as you sail and watch the sunset on the ocean.

Day 3: Telaga / Siantan

Wake up immersed in nature in Ajam. Enjoy a morning swim or dive before we cruise to Telaga. Here we can have lunch on a remote island. Snorkel, explore islands, dive or simply relax as we cruise the area. In the evening we will move on to Siantanfor.

Day 4: Siantan / Penjalin

Enjoy fresh fruit as you take in the sights. After arriving you can explore the area and visit the Terampah Market and the Siantan waterfall. We eat another fresh and delicious meal for lunch. There’s room to dive, SUP or take some incredible photos and videos with the yachts onboard drone. After another great meal for diner, we set sail for Penjalin.

Day 5: Penjalin / Mandariau

If you’ve enjoyed snorkeling and diving so far on the charter, you will really enjoy day 5. The crew will take you to the most ideal dive spots in all of Indonesia. You’ll experience extremely clear water unlike anywhere else on the journey so far. There are also plenty of coastlines to explore and hiking trails around the island.

Day 6: Sagu Dampar / Moon Rock Lagoon

On day 6 we cruise to Mandariau. Along the way you can take the helm, take a dive, play in the water or just relax and sip cocktails as we cruise. During the day you can visit Moon Rock Lagoon – a stunning lagoon with awesome photo opportunities. Watch exotic wildlife and return to the yacht for another delicious sunset dinner. On a clear night it’s possible to arrange a night dive. When the moonligh lights up the lagoon, it truly is an enchanting place.

Day 7: Pencil Dot Island / Ritan

After a revitalizing breakfast, more island exploring awaits. We’ll sail to Pencil Dot Island, a picturesque uninhabited tropical island, with incredible white sand beaches! After lunch we cruise to Ritan for more once in a lifetime diving experiences. Explore the island and take in amazing views as you hike around Bonito Rock. It’s another day of both relaxation and adventure as your journey winds down.

Day 8: Ritan / Bawah / Repong / Batam

On the last day of the journey, get in all the dives, snorkeling, SUP and playing as you wish.  In Ritan you’ll enjoy stunning waters perfect for diving. After lunch we’ll sail to Bawah where you can view the truly stunning resort as you dive or snorkel.  Afterwards, we’ll sail back to Batam for a final dinner and an overnight stay. From here you can either charter a seaplane back to Singapore, or you can join the crew for the last leg back to One 15 Marina.
